If you flip the jet ski over, turn off the engine immediately by pulling the lanyard. Check to make sure all passages are safe and proceed to step 2
Go to the back of the watercraft and check for a sticker that indicates the correct direction to flip the jet ski back over. If there is no sticker, turn it in a clockwise direction.
Flip the jet ski back over as quickly as possible to prevent water from entering the hull.
If the jet ski has been flipped for more than 5 minutes, do not attempt to start the engine. This could mean that the engine has ingested water and is now hydro locked. Starting a hydro locked engine will cause damage.
If the jet ski has been flipped for less than 5 minutes and you flipped it in the correct direction, check the engine area located under the seat for water before you try to start the engine. If the engine area doesn't have much water in the hual try to start it, if it does not crank, do not try multiple times. Instead, get towed to land or call us and we will come help you out. 903-609-9938
If the engine starts and everything seems normal, you can resume your ride as usual. However, if the engine doesn't sound right, shut it off immediately and contact us for further assistance.
